Fabulous Coat. Very Generous sizing. I managed to size down from my usual. A lovely Terracotta colour. The fabric is not like my other H&R coats. They have been fleecy feel. This feels more like woollen fabric. There is a texture to it.
Of course, there are H&R deep pockets.
There is a buckle belt. Buttons right down to near the bottom of the coat so you don’t get any blowing open. The “cape” effect at the shoulder goes all the way round the back with button trims. There are buckle fastenings on the sleeves which is really useful as it stops the sleeve sitting below the wrist. I usually have to turn back cuffs on coat sleeves.
My only tiny negative, I would have preferred an inch longer. I’m 5’5” and some of my dresses fall slightly below the hemline.
All in all though, a gorgeous coat. I want it in more colours please.
I was unsure about the sizing. I ordered this in a size bigger than usual. I thought it would be good for wearing thicker jumpers etc.
unfortunately, it was very big. I’d say a size bigger than stated.
The coat though is lovely. It’s more terracotta than burgundy.
